Warlocks are immortal, as Magnus Bane says in Clockwork Prince. They are the only Downworlders who can cast magic because they have demon blood (unlike vampires and werewolves, who are infected by a demonic disease). They are the direct offspring of Humans and Demons, and are called Lilith’s Children. Many (if not all) Warlocks have unnatural body parts (called a demon’s mark) such as bat wings, goat feet, lizard tails, scaled hands or cat eyes.
